Coffee Day: CAS Coffee

Happy National Coffee Day!  Can't think of a better way to celebrate than to make a couple more cards for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

This actually is a pre-printed envelope.  I've looked for the maker of this set and can't find it.

The freebie digital image is from blog hop super sponsor STAMPlorations and it fits perfectly in the center, making this an easy CAS card. Awesome to place a gift card inside. Easy Peasy.

I chose "magical" because we coffee lovers know about the magical powers of the coffee bean.  And then there's Cinderella's magical pumpkin.....just seemed like the most appropriate sentiment on this gift card envy.  And I love how the "l" fit perfectly on that coffee cup.

I colored with Copics.

Owl Need a Little Latte

Day 6 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I'm here with entry #547

Using Brentwood Owl--Pumpkin Spice Latte--freebie from JessicaLynnOriginal.  This is the fourth Coffee Lovers Blog Hop where I've used the latest Brentwood freebie.  Thanks JessicaLynn for being so generous with your designs! It was the very first freebie I downloaded from the hop and it's finally up on my blog for the hop!

I used Copic markers to color the Brentwood digi stamp.  All other materials are oldies but goodies from my stash.  The scrap of paper says "Spellbound".  Yellow arrow journaling spot is from heidiswapp. Letters and spider have no packaging to identify their source.

I couldn't help myself.  Brentwood's nose is colored like a piece of candy corn.

Fox Box

This is my second post of the day for Imagine That! digis by Kris.  We have a big reveal of lots of amazing products so I just had to get in on it.  All of the details are HERE at the Creative Playground. Be sure to visit to see all of the DT makes to inspire you to get crafting with the new digis.  And, of course, there's a chance to win some of the new product! Winners will be announced on Sept. 30.

I used the new Woodland digi paper and printed it out on card stock.

I then made a gift box with it using a free candy box template found on the internet HERE.

Printing the pre-made digi tag and cutting it out was an easy way to finish with a coordinated look.

This is my post as a member of the 3rd quarter Guest Design Team for Imagine That! Digis by Kris.  Kris' Creative Playground blog with additional inspiration and challenges is HERE.

Materials:

Prima Finnabair art ingredients: copper glass glitter
Marvy Liquid Applique
Sizix Tim Holtz 660232 Fresh Brewed Die
hard plastic product cover which I cut with the die and glued on top of the paper that I cut with the die;
Prima Heavy Body Transparent Gel--much to my delight it did not make the ink run or smear on the digi image and paper printed on my ink jet printer.  Those of you who don't have lazer jet printers know that many products make the ink jet prints smear.

A Little Coffee Card

We're in day four of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop which means I've got a fourth entry.

I used the freebie image from Blog Hop super sponsor Limited Runs Digital Stamps. I then used the die set to cut and stack papers, ending with the white card--which I placed inside the left edge of the die so as not to cut through the fold.

This is my little blue bird of happiness bringing me my coffee....
The blue copic and the blue paper actually match better than the way the camera grabbed the pigments in the daylight...sigh

Day 3 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

It's day three of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop which means I have a 3rd entry.

This time I used my Copic markers and digi images from Vera Lane Studio---Janet's Etsy shop can be found HERE.  I made a set of 3 ATCs using the quirky skeletons Izydora and Ignacio from the Calacas set.  For the sentiments, I reversed the ink color so that it would look like white chalk (on the blackboard background found at Pixel Scrapper).

Can't "Bear" to Be Without my Coffee

This is my second day post for the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop.

Not only can I not bear to be without my coffee, I also crave a doughnut!

I used the adorable pre-colored freebie image from Blog Hop super sponsor Craftin Desert Divas.  I used the doughnut as inspiration for a circle theme and went on the hunt for coordinating product..
I found a card and scrapbook papers (My Mind's Eye Sophia "Sisters" Circular Bliss Paper-2010) in my "oldies but goodies" stash and was happy to use them up.
Tools:  Sizzix 8 Framelits, Stampin' Up punch

Napa Digi Scrapbook Page

Another 100% digital scrapbook page from my travels.

This photo was taken literally on the side of the road.

It was a girls' trip to Napa for my 65th birthday.  This looked like a great background for a photo.

I had just retired and lost 20 lbs so I was feeling pretty good--can you tell by my pose?

The two smaller photos are of a couple of the wineries we visited.

Digi Chicks Materials:
September 2016 Template Challenge (AKIZO Paper Play)  used the template including the placement of photo spots and kept the photo frame and flowers
Used PSE paint bucket to change the colors of the strips.
Kimeric I'd Rather Be Reading (journaling spot)
Kimeric frs Fall Free Range graffiti
Kimeric September 2016 Fan Freebie files otdap  alpha (title), salmon background paper

I'll be posting this at DigiChick for the template challenge.

September = School + Apples

This is a 100% digital composition that can be printed out as a 4.5" x 5.5" card.

September always means back to school and apple picking time.  I found it easy to work up this combo with these digis.  I'm just lovin' that black apple paper! Find it in the store Imagine That Digis by Kris HERE
Please note that I used the precolored digi of the school girl as seen in the kit below.

FYI:  This design would work for the Easy As 1-2-3 Challenge over at the Creative Playground HERE: 1 sentiment; 2 strips of patterned paper; 3 embellies-school supplies.  As GDT, I can't enter---but YOU can!

Digital Scrapbook Page

This is a 100% digital scrapbook page.  The photo is from our trip to Nashville last month.

Two new things I did:  used a template which I colorized in PSE.  Changed the sky in my photo, again using PSE.  The rest is layering elements, adding frames and shadows which I've done before.

I've joined the Digi Chick community where I'm entering contests using their kits.  This is my first entry---September Mood Board.
